iPhone 4: Best photo app

Your photos have never looked this brilliant.

The high-resolution Retina display on iPhone 4 gives your photos a place to shine. Whether you’re flicking through an album or zooming in to see the smallest detail, you’ll be amazed at how sharp, vibrant, and beautiful your photos look. And so will everyone you show them to.

Photos to go.

Take the photos you have stored on your Mac or PC with you wherever you go. iPhone uses iTunes to sync photos from your computer to your iPhone, so you can look at them and share from anywhere.

Organize your photos by Places.

iPhone 4 geotags your photos as you take them. So you can browse them based on where they were taken. To see all the photos you took in London, for example, tap the Places button, then tap the pin on London. You can even zoom in on the map.

Organize photos by Faces.

iPhone works seamlessly with Faces in iPhoto for the Mac, so you can view your photos organized not only by event or place but also by who’s in them. Say you want to see pictures of your best friend. Tap her picture in Faces view to open an album containing photos of her.

Share memories with a tap.

iPhone makes it so easy to share your photos, it’s almost addictive. Take a picture and email it to Twitter, Flickr, or your best friend. Take and send snapshots via MMS — even as you’re texting.

Widescreen photography.

If you think photos look great on your iPhone, wait until you see them on your widescreen TV. AirPlay lets you wirelessly stream photos from your iPhone to your HDTV via Apple TV. Just tap the AirPlay icon, and the photos on your iPhone appear on your TV. That ought to go over big.

Print all your snaps.

Say you just snapped some group photos of the whole family and your aunt wants a copy. AirPrint makes it easy to wirelessly print photos right from your iPhone. So when your aunt says, “I want a copy of that,” a few taps is all it takes to hand her a print she can take home.
