Top 10 Most Dangerous Animals

The forests are  a home to some of the most dangerous animals in the world. There have been cases where lives have been lost when the animals felt threatened by the human presence. Here are some of the most dangerous animals in the world.
1. Green Anaconda:

The green anaconda can easily be located within the South American rainforests. A fully grown green anaconda can weigh 550lbs plus and measure up to 2 feet. Its diet comprises of birds, wild pigs, turtles, deer, caimans as well as capybara. Once in a while, the snake feeds on jaguars. For the green anaconda to consume its prey, it has to make sure that it is dead. It achieves this by coiling round the prey and then asphyxiating it.

2. Jaguar:
Fortunately, the Jaguar is not found in all the forests in the world. It is mainly located in the Central and South American rainforests. It finishes its prey crushing the skull with its bite. A Jaguar’s diet mainly comprises of snakes, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, peccary, turtles, eggs, fish, sloths and frogs. In addition, if it spots anything that it can kill then it also forms part of its diet.

3. Bengal Tiger:

The Bengal tiger is mainly located in rainforest found in Asia, for instance, Southeast Asian Rainforest. It is the main kind of Tiger that is found in the World. Apparently, the Bengal tiger only attacks human beings when it feels threatened.

4. Poison Arrow Frog:

Poison Arrow Frog is the most deadly of all kinds of frogs in the world. It is mainly found in rainforests located in Central and South America. The frog measures 2 inches long. The most toxic of all is the golden poison arrow. The venom from the frog is enough to kill ten men.

5. Gaboon Viper:

The gaboon viper is a snake that is mainly found in rainforests located in Eastern, Western and Central Arica. It mainly feeds on birds, tiny mammals and amphibians. Its fangs contain a deadly toxin that can destroy humans in minutes. The snake measures approximately two inches long.

6. Crocodiles:
Crocodiles can be found in almost all the forests in the world that have rivers running through them, They are the most deadly animals when it comes to catching its prey. All they have to do is lie still in water without any movement. When it launches to catch its prey, it does at the speed of a missile. Once it has its prey firmly on its grip, it then pulls it to the deeper parts of the water where it cannot fight for its life. Approximately, 800 human lives are lost worldwide due to crocodile attacks.

7. Mosquito:

Whereas one may laugh at the thought of a mosquito being one of the most deadly animals in the rainforest,  Malaria which is common in tropical regions account for up to 3 million deaths annually. From this number, one can comfortably say that mosquitoes are the most dangerous animals in the world.

8. Emerald Tree Boa:

The emerald tree boa is found in a number of forests in South America, e.g. Amazon and Guyana. A fully grown emerald boar can measure up to 7.25 feet. It can mainly be found in the swampy and marshy areas of the rainforest. It kills its prey by coiling itself around it and suffocating it. Its food mainly comprises of birds and rodents.

9. Alligators:

Alligators can also be found in marshy or swampy areas of the forest. Just as crocodiles, alligators are dangerous and kill on sight.

10. Bats:

Not considered by many as dangerous, but, when bitten by a bat, chances are that you can develop certain diseases that could be fatal to you in the long run.
